1. About BusinessMap.my

BusinessMap.my is a digital platform operated by Creative Site Digital Solution.

The platform provides eligible businesses with the opportunity to claim a numbered digital placement (“Digital Lot”) on the Malaysian Digital Business Map.

BusinessMap.my is intended to create a visual digital landmark featuring Malaysian businesses through individual numbered lots, business logos, business names and links to participating businesses’ websites.

2. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing BusinessMap.my, submitting a Digital Lot claim, purchasing a Digital Lot, submitting business information or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you are acting on behalf of a company, organisation or other business entity, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that entity.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not purchase or claim a Digital Lot.

3. Eligibility

To claim or purchase a Digital Lot, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old;
• Have legal capacity to enter into a transaction;
• Be the business owner, authorised representative or otherwise have permission to act for the business being submitted;
• Provide accurate and complete information;
• Have the necessary rights to use the submitted business name, logo, trademarks and website;
• Comply with these Terms and applicable Malaysian laws.

BusinessMap.my may request reasonable verification documents or additional information where necessary.

4. What Is a Digital Lot?

A Digital Lot is a unique numbered digital display placement on BusinessMap.my.

Depending on the package purchased, a Digital Lot may display:

• A unique Digital Lot number;
• Business logo;
• Business or company name;
• A link to the business website;
• Digital Lot tier or designation;
• Founding Lot status where applicable.

5. Digital Lot Packages

BusinessMap.my may offer different Digital Lot packages. Current introductory packages may include:

Prices, package specifications, availability and promotional offers may change from time to time.

Any price change will not retrospectively change the amount paid for a completed Digital Lot purchase.

Display dimensions may vary depending on device size, responsive website layout and future design improvements. References to Standard, Featured or Premium size describe the relative prominence of the Digital Lot rather than a guaranteed fixed pixel dimension.

6. Digital Lot Numbers

Each approved Digital Lot is assigned a unique lot number.

Lot numbers may be classified as Standard, Featured or Premium depending on their memorability, sequence, pattern, scarcity, placement or other characteristics determined by BusinessMap.my.

Examples of Premium numbers may include repeating, sequential, low-numbered or otherwise distinctive numbers.

BusinessMap.my may reserve selected numbers for Premium Lots, promotions, partnerships, internal use, future releases or other legitimate platform purposes.

Once a Digital Lot has been approved and activated, the same number will not normally be assigned to another active business while the original Digital Lot remains active and compliant with these Terms.

7. Founding Digital Lots

BusinessMap.my may initially release a limited number of Digital Lots designated as “Founding Lots” or “Founding Digital Lots”.

The first release is planned to include up to 1,000 Founding Digital Lots, subject to availability and platform decisions.

BusinessMap.my may release additional Digital Lots in future phases.

The release of additional Digital Lots does not remove a valid Founding Lot designation previously awarded to an eligible Founding Lot.

Founding status is a platform designation only and does not imply financial value, investment value, resale value or guaranteed appreciation.

8. Purchase & Payment

Digital Lot purchases must be made through the payment methods made available on BusinessMap.my.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, the displayed Digital Lot price is a one-time purchase price for the relevant placement, subject to these Terms.

An order is not complete until:

1. The required information has been submitted;
2. Payment has been successfully received or confirmed; and
3. The Digital Lot claim has been accepted by BusinessMap.my.

Payment processing may be provided by an independent third-party payment gateway.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all payment and billing information submitted is accurate.

BusinessMap.my reserves the right to cancel or reject transactions that appear fraudulent, unauthorised, duplicated, erroneous or otherwise suspicious.

9. Verification & Approval

Payment does not automatically guarantee publication of a Digital Lot.

BusinessMap.my may review submitted business information before activation.

We may:

• Verify the existence or legitimacy of a business;
• Check the submitted website;
• Review the business logo and business name;
• Request supporting information;
• Reject misleading, unlawful or prohibited submissions;
• Request reasonable corrections before publication.

Where a paid claim is rejected before activation for reasons not caused by misconduct, misrepresentation or prohibited activity, BusinessMap.my will handle the payment according to the applicable Refund Policy.

10. Duration of Digital Lot Placement

Unless otherwise stated when you purchase a Digital Lot, the Digital Lot is provided on a one-time payment basis and may remain active for as long as BusinessMap.my continues to operate the relevant Digital Lot service and the Digital Lot remains compliant with these Terms.

There is no recurring placement fee unless a separate optional service, upgrade or future product is expressly purchased by the customer.

11. Business Content & Submitted Materials

You retain ownership of the business name, logo, trademarks and other materials that you lawfully own.

By submitting materials to BusinessMap.my, you grant Creative Site Digital Solution a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, resize, optimise, display and technically adapt those materials where reasonably necessary to:

• Display your Digital Lot;
• Operate BusinessMap.my;
• Create Digital Lot previews;
• Create Proud Owner graphics or badges;
• Promote or demonstrate BusinessMap.my, provided such use does not falsely imply endorsement by your business.

You confirm that submitted materials do not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other legal rights of third parties.

12. Changes to Business Information

Digital Lot owners may request reasonable updates to information such as:

• Business logo;
• Business name;
• Website URL;
• Other displayed business information supported by the platform.

BusinessMap.my may require verification before making material changes.

We reserve the right to introduce reasonable limits or administrative charges for excessive, repeated or complex change requests in the future, provided any applicable charge is disclosed before the requested paid service is performed.

13. Prohibited Businesses & Content

BusinessMap.my reserves the right to reject, suspend or remove businesses or content associated with unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, harmful or inappropriate activity.

This may include businesses primarily involved in:

• Illegal products or services;
• Fraud, scams or deceptive schemes;
• Unlicensed financial or investment schemes;
• Gambling or unlawful betting services;
• Pornographic or sexually explicit services;
• Illegal drugs or controlled substances;
• Counterfeit or stolen goods;
• Malware, phishing or malicious online activity;
• Hate, extremist or unlawful violent activity;
• Any activity prohibited under applicable Malaysian law.

BusinessMap.my may also decline businesses that we reasonably consider unsuitable for the platform’s intended business community or brand standards.

14. External Website Links

A Digital Lot may contain a link to a website supplied by the Digital Lot owner.

BusinessMap.my does not control, operate or endorse third-party websites merely because they are linked from a Digital Lot.

BusinessMap.my is not responsible for:

• Third-party website content;
• Products or services offered by a listed business;
• Transactions between visitors and listed businesses;
• Third-party privacy or security practices;
• Loss arising from use of an external website.

We may remove or disable links that become unsafe, malicious, misleading, unavailable or inappropriate.

15. SEO, Backlinks, Traffic & Visibility

A Digital Lot may include a clickable link from BusinessMap.my to the business owner’s website.

However, BusinessMap.my does not guarantee:

• Any specific Google or search engine ranking;
• An increase in organic traffic;
• An increase in Domain Authority, Domain Rating or similar metrics;
• A specific number of website visitors;
• Leads, enquiries or sales;
• How Google or another search engine will classify, crawl, index, value or treat a link.

BusinessMap.my may apply link attributes, technical changes or linking methods when reasonably necessary for security, search engine compliance or platform management.

16. Transfer, Resale & Trading of Digital Lots

Digital Lots are not designed as financial assets, investment products or speculative instruments.

Customers may not independently sell, auction, trade, sublicense or commercially transfer a Digital Lot number through BusinessMap.my without prior written approval from BusinessMap.my.

A legitimate transfer may be considered where:

• A business changes legal ownership;
• A company restructures or rebrands;
• A business is acquired or merged;
• BusinessMap.my determines that another genuine business transfer is appropriate.

Any approved transfer may require verification and may be subject to administrative conditions.

BusinessMap.my does not guarantee that any Digital Lot has or will have a resale value.

17. Cancellation & Refunds

Digital Lot purchases are subject to the BusinessMap.my Refund Policy.

Because a Digital Lot involves reserving a unique number and preparing a personalised digital placement, refund eligibility may depend on whether the Digital Lot has already been approved, activated, published or otherwise fulfilled.

A customer should review the Digital Lot number, package and submitted information carefully before completing payment.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude any mandatory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Malaysian law.

18. Suspension, Removal & Termination

BusinessMap.my may suspend, hide, disable or remove a Digital Lot where reasonably necessary, including where:

• The business is unlawful or fraudulent;
• The submitted information is materially false or misleading;
• The business website contains malicious content;
• Third-party intellectual property rights are infringed;
• The Digital Lot is being abused;
• A payment is reversed, charged back or fraudulent;
• The customer materially breaches these Terms;
• Removal is required by law or a competent authority.

Where appropriate, we may contact the Digital Lot owner and provide an opportunity to correct an issue before permanent removal.

Serious fraud, unlawful conduct, security threats or other urgent matters may result in immediate suspension or removal.

19. Platform Design & Future Changes

BusinessMap.my is an evolving digital platform.

We may modify:

• The appearance of the Malaysian Digital Business Map;
• Lot dimensions and responsive layout;
• Navigation and website design;
• Technical infrastructure;
• Search and filtering features;
• Digital Lot release phases;
• Features and functionality;
• Available packages for future customers.

We will make reasonable efforts to preserve the core identity, lot number and relative tier of existing active Digital Lots when making platform changes.

BusinessMap.my may eventually support more Digital Lots than were available during the initial Founding Lot release.

20. BusinessMap.my Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the BusinessMap.my name, logo, visual design, map interface, Digital Lot system, website layout, graphics, code, copy, badges and other original platform materials are owned by or licensed to Creative Site Digital Solution.

Purchasing a Digital Lot does not transfer ownership of any BusinessMap.my intellectual property to the customer.

Customers may use official Proud Owner graphics or badges provided by BusinessMap.my for reasonable promotional purposes relating to their own valid Digital Lot.

Such materials must not be altered or used in a misleading way that suggests a partnership, certification, government recognition or endorsement that does not exist.

21. Limitation of Liability

BusinessMap.my will use reasonable efforts to operate and maintain the platform, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Creative Site Digital Solution will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising from matters such as:

• Temporary website downtime;
• Search engine ranking changes;
• Loss of expected traffic, leads or sales;
• Third-party websites;
• Internet or hosting failures outside our reasonable control;
• Unauthorised acts by third parties;
• Business information supplied incorrectly by the customer.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable Malaysian law.

22. Your Responsibility & Indemnity

You are responsible for information and materials submitted in connection with your Digital Lot.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses or reasonable costs arising from:

• Your unlawful use of BusinessMap.my;
• Your breach of these Terms;
• False or misleading business information;
• Your infringement of another person’s intellectual property or other legal rights;
• Products, services or transactions offered through your external business website.

23. Privacy & Personal Data

Personal data collected through BusinessMap.my is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Malaysian data protection requirements.

Certain Digital Lot information, including business name, business logo, lot number and website link, is intentionally displayed publicly as part of the service.

24. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

Any dispute arising from or relating to BusinessMap.my or these Terms will be subject to the applicable laws and jurisdiction of Malaysia.

Where possible, customers are encouraged to contact us first so that any concern or dispute can be addressed reasonably and promptly.

25. Changes to These Terms

BusinessMap.my may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, services, law, technology or business operations.

The latest version will be published on this page together with its effective or last-updated date.

Material changes will apply prospectively where required by law.

Continued use of BusinessMap.my after updated Terms become applicable may constitute acceptance of those updated Terms, subject to applicable legal requirements.
