What exactly is a Digital Lot?
A Digital Lot is a unique numbered space on BusinessMap.my reserved for one business.
Your lot displays your business identity directly on the Malaysian Digital Business Map.
Depending on your selected package, your Digital Lot includes your unique lot number, business logo, business name and a clickable link to your website.
Visitors can explore BusinessMap.my, discover your business and click directly through to your website.
How It Works
Claiming your Digital Lot is simple. Here is the complete process from choosing your lot number until your business appears on the map.
Explore the Digital Business Map
Visit the BusinessMap.my homepage and browse the available Digital Lots.
Available lots will be clearly marked, while claimed lots will display the business that currently occupies that Digital Lot.
Choose Your Lot Number
Select an available lot number that you want to associate with your business.
Some lot numbers are more memorable or distinctive than others. These may be offered as Featured or Premium Digital Lots.
For example, repeating, sequential or low-numbered Digital Lots may have higher prominence and limited availability.
Select Your Digital Lot Tier
Digital Lots are available in three main tiers: Standard, Featured and Premium.
The main differences are the prominence of the Digital Lot, its display size and the type of lot numbers made available within each tier.
Submit Your Business Information
Complete the claim form with the information required to create your Digital Lot.
You will typically provide:
- Business or company name
- Business logo
- Website URL
- Contact name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Business location where applicable
Your private contact information is used for administration and verification. It will not automatically appear publicly on your Digital Lot.
Complete Your Payment
Review your selected lot number, package and business details before completing payment.
Your Digital Lot will only be secured after successful payment and approval by BusinessMap.my.
We Review Your Claim
BusinessMap.my may review your business name, logo, website and submitted information before your lot becomes publicly visible.
This helps us maintain the quality and integrity of the Malaysian Digital Business Map.
We may contact you if additional information or a correction is required.
Your Digital Lot Goes Live
Once approved, your Digital Lot becomes active on BusinessMap.my.
Your lot will display your business logo, business name and website link according to the package you selected.
Your assigned lot number remains associated with your active Digital Lot while it remains compliant with the BusinessMap.my Terms & Conditions.
Celebrate & Share Your Digital Lot
Once your Digital Lot is live, you can receive or access a Proud Owner graphic showing your Digital Lot number and business identity.
Share it on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, your website or other business channels.

What happens after payment?
Your purchase starts the activation process. Your business does not simply appear automatically without review.
Immediately After Purchase
You will receive confirmation that your Digital Lot claim has been submitted.

After Approval
Once your business has been approved, your Digital Lot becomes part of the live Malaysian Digital Business Map.

Your Digital Lot becomes part of your brand story.
When your Digital Lot goes live, you can proudly share that your business has claimed its place on Malaysia’s Digital Business Map.
Your Proud Owner graphic can be shared on social media, business websites, WhatsApp Status, presentations or other promotional channels.
Early businesses that join during the first release may also carry the Founding Lot designation.

BusinessMap.my begins with the release of the first 1,000 Digital Lots. Additional lots may be released in future phases, but eligible Digital Lots from the first release retain their Founding Lot designation.

Do I actually own physical land when I buy a Digital Lot?
No. A Digital Lot is an exclusive digital placement and lot identifier within BusinessMap.my. It is not physical land, real estate, shares or an investment product.
Is the Digital Lot price a monthly subscription?
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, Standard, Featured and Premium Digital Lots are offered as a one-time payment, subject to the BusinessMap.my Terms & Conditions.
Can someone else use my lot number after I claim it?
An approved active Digital Lot number will not normally be allocated to another active business while your lot remains active and compliant with our Terms & Conditions.
Why are some Digital Lot numbers more expensive?
Certain numbers are more memorable, rare or distinctive. Premium and Featured Digital Lots may also receive larger or more prominent placement on the map.
Can I choose my own lot number?
Yes, where available. You can select from currently available Digital Lot numbers. Certain numbers may be reserved for Featured or Premium packages.
What information will visitors see?
Your Digital Lot may display your lot number, business logo, business name and website link. Private billing and administrative contact details are not automatically displayed publicly.
Will my website get a backlink?
A Digital Lot may contain a clickable link to your business website. However, BusinessMap.my does not guarantee Google rankings, SEO performance, traffic, leads or sales.
Can I update my business logo or website later?
Reasonable updates may be requested, subject to verification and the BusinessMap.my Terms & Conditions.
What happens after the first 1,000 lots are claimed?
BusinessMap.my is designed to support future expansion. Additional Digital Lots may be released in later phases. Eligible lots from the first 1,000 retain their Founding Lot designation.
Can every type of business join BusinessMap.my?
Digital Lot claims are subject to review. We may reject unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, unsafe or otherwise prohibited businesses in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
